Wandering Moments

Photography is a way to capture moments and stories in a single frame. My first year at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design marked a significant chapter, particularly during a Digital Media class. Before that, I had a nostalgic affair with an old Nikon film camera that relied on a type of film that stopped production in 2008. There was a charm in scavenging eBay for these expired film cartridges, each roll holding the potential for unique and unexpected results.

I remember vividly the days and nights spent wandering through the streets of Baltimore, Philadelphia, and New York, armed with the Nikon. Each click of the shutter felt like a small victory, freezing moments that might otherwise have slipped into oblivion. Once my 24 shots were used, the adventure had ended.

But it was during the Digital Media class, that my passion for photography truly reignited with a Canon Rebel T7. The traditional techniques I knew and the digital tools I was learning about opened up new avenues for exploration and expression. It was a turning point, propelling me into a world between the tangible and the virtual blur.

Capturing Essence

Since then, I’ve delved deeper into photography, exploring different styles, techniques, and subjects. It’s become more than just a hobby; it’s a means of storytelling and self-expression. I continue to write my visual narrative, one frame at a time.

I find an obsession in embracing the diverse tapestry of what the world offers. Alongside my explorations in urban landscapes and street photography, I’ve ventured into the captivating world of model photography. Capturing the essence and emotions of individuals in front of the lens has added a whole new dimension to my craft, allowing me to weave narratives through portraiture.

I’ve also found solace and inspiration in the serenity of wildlife and nature photography. There’s something magical about seeking out the elusive and fleeting moments of raw, unfiltered beauty. Whether it’s the dance of a bird in flight or the stillness of a forest, each encounter drives me to continue in the boundless wonders of our world.
